We know how frustrating it is to have something happen to your order, so we’ve partnered with Narvar to offer added assurance that you’re supported. Package Protection can be added in your cart or during checkout and is non-refundable.

If you elect to not add Package Protection at checkout, Melissa is not responsible for any orders that are lost, stolen, or damaged during shipping.

FAQ

  • Shipping Protection is an optional add-on at checkout that protects your order against loss, theft, or damage during delivery.

  • The following scenarios are covered under the shipping protection:

    ● Lost packages
    ● Stolen packages
    ● Damaged items

    The follow scenarios are NOT covered under shipping protection:

    ● Incorrect shipping address entered at checkout
    ● Buyer’s remorse
    ● Delivery delays or late arrivals
    ● Issues unrelated to shipping

  • If you purchased shipping protection, you can submit a claim through our self-service portal using your order number and email address.

    In order to submit a claim for:

    Lost / Stolen Package Claims
    - Item has shipped
    - Claim can be submitted:

    * more than 1 day after the delivered date, or
    * 15 days or more after ship date if there is no delivery scan


    - Claim must be submitted within 9 months of delivery date, or within 9 months of ship date + 15 days if no delivery scan

    Damaged Item Claims
    - Item has shipped
    - Claim must be submitted within 30 days of delivery

  • Most claims are reviewed within 24 hours, though some may take up to 5 business days.

  • Once your claim has been approved, you will receive instructions on how your issue will be resolved, such as a refund or replacement.

  • If your claim is denied, you will receive an email with the claim outcome. If you have questions, our support team can help clarify next steps.
